The only reference for Christopher on the Pearce Register of British Conscientious Objectors is to The Friend 21 June, 1916.

Conscientious Objection during the First World War:
He appears to have been exempted from combatant service on religious grounds. He was an attender at the Sydenham Friends House Prayer Meeting in 1916 and prior to then had been a Congregationalist.

War Service:
Christopher is believed to have remained in his previous employment now under the terms of Work of National Importance.
